Ahh December, sweet December. December 6, December 16, but even between the blessed dates Christmas was stalking us. Color is everywhere! Damnit! I wanted to be happy, share the joy, sing Carols but couldn't stop glaring at lights for stealing the spotlight. It was Alejandra's last day with 20. That's it. Next day was going to be HER day, not CHRISTMAS's PREVIEW #z day.
But ironically he took them a picture. And it's blurry. "Punishment for Christmas lights" I thought. But NO! They are shinier. They are the only neon on a swirl of dark colors (OK, let's forget the bag). They have the spotlight again.
And yet, today, on Dec 23rd, they look beautiful.
